Procedure for eKYC of Ration Card Members

Prerequisite:

User must have Smart Phone / Tablet with latest Android version.
User has to install AadhaarFaceRD App from Google Play Store for Aadhaar based Face authentication.
User has to download and install PDS Plus Mobile from Google Play Store 
Citizen should have Ration Card and Aadhar number. Mobile number should be linked with Aadhaar.

For VCE:

User must have Aadhaar verified SSO ID on SSO portal (https://sso.gujarat.gov.in)
All VCE (eGram users) to be given access to App for eKYC (by the respective TDO)

For School Principal :

API for user verification with User ID, Name, Mobile Number and Encrypted Aadhaar required for integration (for 2 facto authentication (Paasword + Aaadhar based OTP). Education department will validate these users through API provided by them. Application will take User ID & mobile number at login screen. 


Submission of eKYC request: (VCE / School Principal):

  • Open PDS Plus Mobile app.
  • Login:
  • VCE User will enter SSO ID, Password and Capcha code for Single Sign-On login.
  • Principal will enter user ID and mobile number available in Education department database.
  • After Login ID and Password verification, OTP will be sent to user’s aadhaar seeded mobile Number. User will enter OTP (Two factor authentication), after validation PDS+ Menu will be accessible.
  • After successful login, User will select “Aadhaar e-KYC” option for doing eKYC of ration card members.
  • Necessary instructions will be displayed on screen. User will read and go ahead.
  • User will enter Ration Card Number of beneficiary for whom eKYC is to be done.
  • All members in ration card will be listed with masked aadhaar number and eKYC status. User can select any member whose eKYC status is “No”
  • In case Member’s Aadhaar Number is not seeded, then user need to enter aadhaar number of member and proceed for eKYC.
  • Citizen has to give consent. Consent message will be displayed for selected member and on acceptance, OTP will be sent to selected member’s mobile no linked with Aadhaar.
  • User will enter OTP, verify it and on successful verification of Aadhar OTP, next screen for Member Age group Selection & Mobile verification will be displayed.
  • User will select age group of beneficiary (Age < 18  or Age >=18)
  • If Age <18 (Minor) then consent message for guardian will be displayed. User will enter Name, Relation and Mobile Number of guardian. Guardian will receive OTP and provide to user for verification of mobile number.
  • If Age>=18 then user will enter mobile number of beneficiary and will be verified through OTP.
  • After that, Face Capture screen option will appear. User has to keep face properly in front of mobile camera and need to blink eye. Green colour circle will be displayed around face. If any factor like lights, background, liveliness etc are not as per aadhaar guidelines, user will get message accordingly. 
  • After OTP and Face Authentication, request will be sent to UIDAI server for fetching eKYC data. If successful, user will get demographic details of beneficiaries as per aadhaar as well as details in ration card on same screen. User will check and verify both the data. User will have option to either send these details to FCS office or cancel the eKYC request.
  • For submitting eKYC request for approval, user need to authenticate through Mobile Lock/Pattern (If set) or OTP.
  • On submission, eKYC details will be sent to concern Dy.Mamlatdar/Zonal officer for approval. After final submission user will get confirmation message.

Approval by Competent Authority:

After sending request, KYC request will be available in Supply Office Login (Dy. Mamlatdar / Zonal Officer ) for approval in RCMS Menu (RCMS->My Ration->Face eKYC Request).
Dy Mamlatdar Supply / Zonal Officer can view data of Ration card and Aadhaar and can approve / reject eKYC request with remarks.
